Vietnam Seas and Islands Week to be held on May 31st

QTV - On May 22nd, Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh People's Committee Dang Huy Hau presided over the meeting on plan of organizing Vietnam Seas and Islands Week and activities in response to World Ocean Day 2018 in Quang Ninh.

According to the plan, the event will take place at the Sun Square, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City on may 31st, which includes art performances with the theme "Joining hands to keep seas green”, a seminar on “Youth with sustainable development and Vietnam sea and island sovereignty protection”, a launch for song composition contest on environment, seas and islands protection which will take pkace on June 1st at Do Berth, Cam Pha City.  Vietnam Seas and Islands Week aims at raising people’s awareness on the position and importance of Vietam’s seas and islands in the cause of national construction and defense.
