QTV - In Oct 2016, Quang Ninh’s Department of Agriculture and Rural Development started upgrading Quan Lan Dyke, Van Don District. Investors are asking contractors to hasten its progress to complete the upgrading this year.

Quan Lan Dyke is 70% complete.
Quan Lan Dyke is 70% complete.

For one year and a half of implementation, construction has been completed 70%. Time for construction has been shortened so investors urge contractors to hasten progress while paying attention to supervising the quality of the construction. The project of upgrading Quan Lan Dyke at a length of more than 7.5 km has total investment of nearly 330 billion VND extracted from Government’s budget for climate change response program and provincial budget. Once completed, the concrete dyke has surface width of 5m, wave-resistance capacity of 5.3 m in maximum, 9-strength storm resistance, thus contributing to socio-economic development in Quan Lan Island Commune.
