With facilities serving demand of both elementary and secondary boarding students, varied curricular focusing on soft skills, and foreign languages, Van Lang elementary, secondary and high schools are gradually meeting expectations of students and their parents on a comprehensive educational environment. Another non-state education establishment,  Le Thanh Tong High School is also attracting more and more students as it is modernizing infrastructure. In academic year, 2016-2017, the school harvested 30 prizes at excellent student exams including a second national prize. Quang Ninh currently has 44 non-state schools which provide education for 33,900 students out of a total 306 thousand. The province is mobilizing capitals to invest in non-state schools, which not only reduces burden on State budget but also meets learning demand of students.
