QTV - Dam Ha District is focusing on exploiting the strengths of agricultural development in localities and mobilizing resources to support farmers to effectively develop agriculture.

Taking advantage of the wide water surface, Dam Ha planned to have three aquaculture zones covering on an area of 70 ha in Yen Han, Xom Giao and Dam Buon villages. Thanks to the technical and financial support of specialized agencies and local authorities, many households have invested in aquaculture and fishing to have higher economic returns. In 2017, the average income of the local people was nearly VND 40 million, 3 times as many as figure with 2011. Currently, along with maintaining new rural criteria at Dam Ha, Duc Yen and Quang An communes, Dam Ha is mobilizing all resources to support farmers to expand effective production models, strive to bring three communes Tan Lap, Dai Binh and Tan Binh to earn standards of the new rural at the end of this year.
