Accordingly, on July 25, 1977, the NFA opened up rice biddings and announced that Vietnamese traders won deals to supply 175,000 tons of rice, accounting for 70% of the total rice export volume. In order to successfully carry out this export contract, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has asked the winning bidder to take the initiative in developing a plan for implementing the contract and timely report any problems to the Vietnam Food Association and the Ministry of Industry and Trade for appropriate guidance and support.
