QTV - A ceremony to celebrate the 705th Anniversary of the attainment of Nirvana by King – Monk Tran Nhan Tong ( 1308 – 2017) was held in the Yen Tu national forest and historical site .

King – Monk Tran Nhan Tong is the intellectual and clearsighted king , the great national hero with great contributions to the Tran Dynasty’s history. He twice led the army to defeat Nguyen Mong invaders in 1285 and 1287. At the age of 41, he ceded the throne to his son and led a religious life on Yen Tu mountain, establishing Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen boldly imprinting Dai Viet culture. At the solemn and respectful atmosphere, Buddhist monks and nuns and people have celebrated the memorial ceremony, offered incense to King – Monk Tran Nhan Tong in the traditional Buddhist ritual.
